The CEO of our Digitally.Asia Group Christopher Tock will be sharing his insights on “The COVID-19 Disruption: Reflections from Across ASEAN” at the 6th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival. This virtual event will take place on 20th November 2021 in accordance with its theme “Reimagining Business in the New Paradigm”.

The 6th AYE Carnival is hosted by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei (YEAB) and ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council in partnership with ASEAN-Business Advisory Council, Imagine (Lead Telecommunications Partner) & Baiduri Bank (Official Bank Partner).

We all know the changing times come with a myriad of challenges that we strive to overcome in order to continue running our businesses smoothly. At the 6th AYE Carnival, businesses and young entrepreneurs alike are welcomed to share their insights and learn about how they can overcome the disruptions brought by COVID-19 through digitalization, leadership, collaboration, and inclusive involvement of women in addressing the grand challenges of our times as we adapt to this new normal.

Alongside Christopher, there are several other industry powerhouses that will be speaking at the 6th AYE Carnival such as Ms. Vyani Manao, Co Founder, Chief Commercial Officer of Shox Rumahan (Indonesia), Co-Founder & CEO of Memori.io (Brunei) Ms. Queenie Cheong, Mr. Vishal Vijay, Director and Head of Business Development/Strategic Investments from Agrocorp International Pte Ltd (Singapore), Mr. Tad Hatchaleelaha, Assistant Managing Director, Join & Coin Corporation Co., Ltd (Thailand), and Mr. Alan Lwin @ Than Htaik Lwin, CEO, Proven Group Of Companies, President of Yangon Region Young Entrepreneurs Association (Myanmar).

The goal of this session at the virtual 6th AYE Carnival is to collectively have a reflection on how the pandemic has shifted business models and structures as we know it while also highlighting new opportunities from these speakers’ own experiences and journey. Each business has its own goals to achieve and struggles to overcome, it is only right that we share these challenges and how to pummel through them together.
